Cole was able to save my ass and my business. I considered partnering with Crum Consulting because I needed more guidance on how to structure my business. I understood the basics of how a tattoo shop ran, but I wanted to add more structure due to the fact things were getting out of hand, and there were aspects of the business I was not sure about. She had worked with our business neighbors next door, and their results intrigued me. I understood that I still needed to learn a lot about business, but I was unsure where to start, and how to go about it. I know there is always something new to learn from someone. Cole was already in the business community and I was already familiar how she helped our neighbors. I was able to look her information up online as to what she offers. From there, honestly, I just jumped into it, and I’m sure glad I did. I have gotten a lot from my partnership with Crum Consulting. I went from having a shop with little structure and communication, and I was experiencing a full turnover when Cole came on. I had no clue they were having so many issues and so many things were going on that I was not aware of. Our team meetings were always a disaster. I was new at running a business and it showed in my confidence and leadership. Now, there is always effective communication through meetings and employee check ins. The apprentices have guidelines on what to expect in their apprenticeship and what they need to work on. Not only do the apprentices have a chance to learn and grow, but the whole team gets together every month for continued education at the shop. This has been great for growth in skills and community. Being able to provide the artists with different growth opportunities, such as master mentor artist, and the benefits that come along with this, really seem to motivate the artists. It gives them something to work for and look forward to. The shop now has several automations that help bring more traffic through the door and the overall organization has been great. The artists have opportunities to grow and help out with education, and there is always some event of get together to look forward to. As a whole, the results of my partnership with Crum Consulting have resulted in continued open communication between myself and the artists, and more structure and clear expectations from each role. But, the best thing I have attained is more confidence as a business owner. I’m ADHD with Dyslexia, so I have always been disorganized and all over the place. Cole was able to work with me to help regulate my stress and organize my life.

Cole is an incredible business consultant, advocate, life coach, and all around good human.
